Main exits from the city are Sukhumvit Road and Motorway 7. To Suvarnabhumi (BKK) the toll expressway runs without traffic lights — on a normal day it's 1 h 40 min. To U-Tapao we take the quieter provincial road.
From outer districts (Pratumnak, Jomtien, Naklua, Wong Amat) add 15–20 min to pickup time — in-city traffic in rush hour and ongoing Sukhumvit roadworks happen regularly.
Pattaya is the largest beach resort on Thailand's Eastern coast and the closest seaside city to Bangkok (~150 km via Motorway 7). The local U-Tapao Airport sits 40 km away (~40 min), convenient for charter flights. From Pattaya the routes head south to Hua Hin and to the Ban Phe pier for Ko Samet.
