Useful to knowbefore your ride
The main route to Bangkok and Suvarnabhumi runs along Phetkasem (Highway 4) and Motorway 81. Allow 2.5–3 hours in dry season, up to 4 hours in heavy rain.
In the rainy season (May — October) Highway 4 can get slow in places — heavy showers and lorries. For a BKK flight, leave one hour earlier than the calculated pickup time.
From outer districts (Soi 88, Pranburi, Cha-Am) pickup takes 15–25 min longer: in-resort roads are tight, many villas sit behind unmarked «village» turns without clear landmarks.

Hua Hin is Thailand's oldest beach resort (since the 1920s) and home to the royal residence Klai Kangwon. Calmer and more family-oriented than Pattaya: a long beach line, golf clubs, low nightlife. The transport hub of the southern «Gulf of Siam»: the nearest airport is Suvarnabhumi (BKK), ~230 km along Phetkasem (Highway 4) and Motorway 81.

Where does the driver meet me in Hua Hin?
Right at your hotel, villa or the address you provide — at reception or by the gate. The booking confirmation includes the car number and the meeting plan. If the address is a Pranburi or Soi 88 villa with no clear house number, we'll ask for a pin or a gate photo at booking, so the driver doesn't fumble on travel day. Can the driver stop in Cha-Am or Pranburi on the way?
Yes — add the second address in the booking comment. A short stop along the route (5–10 min) is usually free. For a proper stop with a 30+ min wait or a detour, we re-quote individually — message support before booking.
What if my BKK flight is early — leaving at night?
No problem, we operate 24/7. At night Highway 4 is empty and the trip takes 2 h 15 min — 30 min less than during the day. The driver arrives 5–10 min before pickup and waits at the hotel. If your villa is locked at night with a barrier — let security know in advance so they can let you out.
Is it dangerous to drive on Phetkasem in the rain?
In heavy rain — slow but safe. Our drivers are local, on Highway 4 daily, and know the spots with poor drainage (around Cha-Am and Pranburi). If the forecast calls for a storm we leave 1–1.5 hours earlier as a buffer. Where possible we avoid night thunderstorms in the rainy season.
Can you take golf bags or surfboards?
Of course — Hua Hin is a golf resort, we carry clubs daily. One or two bags fit easily in a Comfort sedan trunk. For a full team of 3–4 players with complete kits — book a Minivan: tailgate + flat floor. For boards, mention the length in the comment — long boards (>9 ft) may not fit in a sedan, you'll need a Minibus.
