Useful to knowbefore you land

  1. Main exits to the beaches — Highway 402 south and Beach Road west. To Patong via the Patak mountain pass — 35 km, normally 50–60 min, up to 1.5 hours in rain and traffic.

  2. In the rainy season (May — October) the mountain section to Patong and Kata gets slippery — drivers take it slower. Add 20–30 min to the calculated arrival.

  3. Between T1 and T2 it's ~250 metres on foot — a shared courtyard. If the booking has the wrong terminal, the driver will meet you at the one you actually exit — just message the chat.

Opened in 1976, today the second-busiest airport in Thailand after Suvarnabhumi. Two terminals: T1 (international) and T2 (domestic, after the 2016 reconstruction). Located on the north of the island in Mai Khao, 35 km from Patong and 40 km from Karon — the main beaches on the south-west, the drive runs along Highway 402.

How much does a transfer from Phuket Airport cost?
Price depends on the beach and car type. To Patong — from THB 950, to Karon and Kata — from THB 1050, to Surin and Kamala — from THB 950, to Mai Khao and Nai Yang (near the airport) — from THB 850, to Khao Lak (on the mainland, ~80 km) — from THB 2250. Where does the driver meet me at HKT?
In the arrivals hall of your terminal with a Thai Go name sign: T1 for international flights, T2 for domestic. The driver waits to the right of the baggage-claim exit, in the common meeters' zone. Hard to mix up — your booking name is on the sign. If your flight ends up at the unexpected terminal — message the chat and the driver will walk over.
How long does the driver wait after landing if the flight is delayed?
2 hours from the plane's actual landing — we track the flight automatically by its number. Delays are common on charter flights, but they don't trigger extra fees: the pickup time shifts automatically. If the delay exceeds 2 hours, message support and we'll work it out individually with no penalties.
What if my flight is cancelled or I reschedule?

Can the driver stop at a supermarket or SIM shop on the way?
Yes, a short stop along the route (5–10 min) is usually free — Tesco, Big C, 7-Eleven or AIS/dtac shops sit right on the Highway 402 route. Just message the driver in chat when you're in the car. For a proper stop with a 30+ min wait, we re-quote individually via support.
What about a large suitcase or a surfboard?
A large 28+ inch suitcase fits easily in a Comfort sedan trunk; two are better in a Minivan or Minibus. Surfboards: short (up to 7 ft) — diagonally in a Minivan; longboards (9+ ft) — only in a Minibus with a folding seat. Mention the board length in the booking comment, we'll match the car.
What cars are available for transfers from HKT?
