Taxi and transfers from Pattaya to Suvarnabhumi Airport (Bangkok)

Pattaya sits 119 km from Suvarnabhumi Airport. The drive runs along Motorway 7 through Chonburi and Laem Chabang — a tolled expressway with no traffic lights or city stops.

In free flow it's a 1.5-hour ride. Factoring in morning traffic approaching Bangkok plus check-in time, we recommend pickup 3.5–4 hours before an international flight, 2.5–3 hours before a domestic one.

The car arrives at your hotel lobby at the exact time you set at booking. The driver shows up early, helps with the luggage, and loads the bags into the car.

The driver watches the road. If there's an accident or slowdown on Motorway 7, they know the backup route via Bang Na Expressway — a common fix for early-morning departures.

At the airport the driver drops you at the right departure terminal — International (zones 1–8) or Domestic. No dragging luggage across parking lots.

The direct bus from Pattaya's North Bus Station costs ≈฿250 but runs only every 2 hours between 07:00 and 21:00. You'd need to reach the station with your luggage first; the bus itself takes 2 hours with stops. No option for night departures.

The shared minibus (van) is cheaper — ≈฿100, runs every 30 minutes, but drops you at Victory Monument in Bangkok. From there it's another 30–40 minutes on the Airport Rail Link or metro with a transfer, plus the luggage shuffle and queues.

A street taxi runs ฿1,100+ from the official counter, but the price is often set "by eye" without the meter. Drivers may haggle over a flat fare or "forget" to return change, counting on a generous tip. At night fares jump 1.5–2×.
