A Thai Go private transfer from Phuket Airport (HKT) to Khao Lak is the fastest way to reach this mainland resort: 80 km via the Sarasin Bridge and Highway 4, around 1 hour 15 minutes on the road. The driver meets you in arrivals with a name sign, a flat fare per car, payment by card (Visa, Mastercard) or via SBP from Russian banks.
Khao Lak is a resort town in the foothills of Phang Nga province, 80 km north of Phuket Airport. The car heads straight out of HKT onto Highway 402, crosses the Sarasin Bridge — the only road link between Phuket island and the mainland — and continues on Highway 4 through small villages to Khao Lak.
In free flow the drive is about 1 hour 15 minutes. At the peak of high season (October to April) and during morning/evening traffic on the northern part of the island, it can stretch to 1 hour 45 minutes. At night the road is almost empty and the trip typically takes an hour.
The driver waits in the common HKT arrivals hall with a sign showing your name — international flights use wing 1, domestic wing 2, with meeting right at the baggage claim exit in both cases. No separate Meet & Greet corner to hunt for.

The hotel or resort address in Khao Lak is shared with the driver upfront. For this route it's essential: the resort strip runs for 20+ km along the coast (Nang Thong, Bang Niang, Khuk Khak), and without a locked drop-off a taxi driver can easily overshoot your resort by 5–10 km.
There's no direct bus from HKT to Khao Lak. The DIY route: a local bus to Patong (Muang Mai stop) or Phuket Town (Thalang), then an intercity bus toward Phang Nga with a stop in Khao Lak. Total cost around ฿160, but intervals are wide and the full trip including waiting and transfers runs 2.5–3 hours. With two suitcases and kids it's a serious test.
A "Taxi Meter" from the counter at HKT — there's no unified rate for long-haul, it's the meter plus a ฿100 airport surcharge and paid idle time in traffic. In high season drivers often refuse the meter and ask for a flat ฿1900+, which by the time you arrive in Khao Lak sometimes "grows" to ฿2200–2500 on account of waiting, jams, or a suddenly remembered night surcharge.
